PRESS RELEASE
SEATWAVE SAVES MORRISSEY FANS FROM MORE MISERY
Monday, 28th January - Some Morrissey fans will be feeling more cheerful than others today, as Seatwave has confirmed that all tickets bought through the site for the star's cancelled Roundhouse dates will be refunded in full thanks to TicketCover, Seatwave's free consumer protection product.
A poorly Moz left the Roundhouse stage after playing only five songs on Friday 25th January, and the last two dates of his six-night residency have been postponed. But while many fans wait to see when the gigs will be rescheduled, only Seatwave customers are guaranteed a full refund for what they paid for the in-demand tickets. No other ticket agent or exchange offers refunds on rescheduled dates, but Seatwave's TicketCover ensures fans have the option of getting every penny back.
Joe Cohen, founder and CEO of Seatwave says:
"Many Morrissey fans will be feeling more miserable than ever as they wait to see if they'll be able to go and see the man in action when the dates are rescheduled. However, we believe in offering fans the very best protection for their ticket purchases, and only our customers are lucky enough to be able to claim a full refund now rather than wondering if they'll get their money back. We wish Morrissey a speedy recovery."
Seatwave customers should visit www.seatwave.com/ticket-cover for information about how to obtain a full refund.

About Seatwave
Seatwave is the UK’s largest fan-to-fan ticket exchange, an online marketplace for buying and selling tickets for theatre, sports, music and other live events. The company was launched in February 2007 by Joe Cohen, ex Ticketmaster and ex match.com and early stage Venture Capital firm, Atlas Venture. Seatwave has more than 500,000 tickets on sale at any one time, 25 times more than eBay.
Seatwave guarantees that tickets come only from legitimate sources and will represent them accurately and honestly. Seatwave operates two types of customer protection. Ticketintegrity™ guarantees that buyers will receive the tickets they ordered and in good time for the event. If not Seatwave refunds 150% of what was paid. All tickets bought on Seatwave are also covered by Ticketcover™. This provides for a full refund if an event is cancelled and even covers buyers for a range of circumstances that may prevent them from attending their performance. The company is based in London.
